DUBAI: Making good on the promise for better cinema in Pakistan, Support Free Media has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MD Productions, to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth in the showbiz industry.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Ahmed Tamjid Aijazi, President of Support Free Media and Momina Duraid, CEO of MD Productions on 14th August 2015.
The two organisations have agreed to mutually cooperate and work on developing human resources for better films in Pakistan, which was the key purpose behind establishing Support Free Media. Both organisations aspire to raise the bar of Pakistani films to international levels through producing quality cinema.
According to the MoU, Support Free Media will provide scholarships for international training, short-term and long term courses to qualified employees and artists recommended by MD Productions. The purpose is to nurture a culture of growth and continuous learning in showbiz professionals, and fill the talent gap in Pakistan, which is the key to better film-making and growth of showbiz industry.
Directors, actors, screenwriters and technical professionals will benefit from the MoU, and will receive training in Karachi, Dubai, Singapore and the United States through Support Free Media training partners.
