TechEx is a project by Support Free Media for media professionals who have the talent and experience, but lack refined technical knowledge and the means for acquiring it. The project aims to focus on training media professionals through technical courses from globally renowned media schools.
Support Free Media sends selected artists to international schools such as New York Film Academy (USA) and Media Asylum (Singapore) for short-term workshops in acting, film-making, production, screenwriting, digital film-making, cinematography and post-production to achieve excellence in respective fields.
These workshops are sponsored by Support Free Media, to cultivate expertise and skills in Pakistani media professionals that will make them internationally competent and provide them access to the highest level of networking and training opportunities in the world. This will, in turn, eventually improve the on-screen outlook of Pakistani films and dramas.
Most of the technical workshops are conducted by our partners in the United States, United Kingdom and Singapore.
